About Us

The University of Sydney Conservative Club seeks to promote discussion around conservative ideas and concepts. It engages with prominent members of the community who support conservative thought and philosophy.

The club is non-political and its interest is in furthering discussion and understanding of conservatism and the contribution it has made to western civilisation.

Universities can often be lonely places for those of a conservative disposition which have been stacked full of progressive left wing academics who are hostile to anything that resembles conservatism.

The University of Sydney Conservative Club aims to provide a space for students who wish to meet other young conservatives and explore the ideas and philosophy behind it in a fun, inviting and engaging way.
